 Opportunity Arts is thrilled to welcome Final Confession as our newest Affiliate Member! The band is composed of 4 Michigan musicians: Kaity Walstad from Flint, Adam Crawford from Lansing, Royce Lloyd from Grand Rapids, & Collin Huston from Muskegon. More than a show; an experience. More than a song; a message. Final Confession strives to reach their audience in a profound and relatable way. Honest and raw lyrical themes pair with high-energy, charismatic live performances to create a uniquely symbiotic relationship between artists and fans. Final Confession hopes to help others feel loved and cared for, even when they feel nobody is listening. What motivates the band the most is their unparalleled passion for the art of music.
Final Confession released their first full-length album in 2020. In 2021, they organized their own DIY Midwest tour, and by 2022, had become a featured artist at the 2022 Michigan Metal Fest, playing alongside Attila, Oceano, Tallah, and more. In addition, Final Confession has been seen at the Hear This! Fest, The Machine Shop, and has also performed with Saliva. The band has been given consistent airtime on FM radio stations across the state of Michigan, such as Q106 in Mid-Michigan, WRIF in Detroit, and Z93 in the Tri-Cities. In November 2022, Final Confession released a new single and cinematic video entitled "The Cycle", which demonstrated heightened levels of creative maturity for the band. Paired with a new and ambitious marketing strategy, this release triggered exponential growth and acclaim for the band. Final Confession kicked off 2023 by releasing a sophomore single and music video, entitled “Beyond The Veil”. This track took a heavy dive into uncharted territory for the band and pushed the limits of their precedent style. The full-length album currently in the works will showcase more of the band's artistic diversity and depth as they continue to grow and mature.
